Schutte is a niche law firm specialised in family and matrimonial law. After working for larger law firms, I founded my own family law firm in 2009 to enable a more client-focused and personal approach.
I have over 25 years of experience as a specialised family and divorce lawyer / mediator and advise on all aspects of family and matrimonial law including:

The core of my practice is the use of intellectual and emotional intelligence to obtain the best possible outcome for my client. This ensures that clients receive not only the highest quality legal advice and service, but also emotional support during emotional upset and stress they are likely to be experiencing. As a niche practice I can restrict the number of clients I take on to ensure that all my clients receive this dedicated and highly personalised service.
I am available to my clients at all times. In addition to meetings during office hours at my office in the centre of Eindhoven, it is possible for urgent matters to make appointments for telephone or Teams/ Zoom - conversations outside office hours.
I am highly experienced in family law for entrepreneurs and international professionals (expats). These divorces give rise to a number of issues which are less likely to feature in other cases and require an expert and bespoke advice.
Divorce and family disputes can require external input from other specialist professionals, such as accountants or corporate experts. I have an extensive network in any required field to assist when needed.
My fees are set at reasonable levels and explained in advance so you know where you stand. This small-scale set-up allows me to deliver high quality at a fair price.
My office in the centre of Eindhoven is easy to reach by public transport or by car and offers sufficient free parking spaces for my clients.
I graduated as a Master of Law (LL.M, Tilburg University, 1993) and am registered as a lawyer with the Dutch Court, which means I can personally take matters to court if necessary.
I have over 25 years of experience as a family and divorce lawyer / mediator. My expertise is continually updated via post-graduate training courses.
Although I have extensive experience in all aspects of family law, I can rely on a network of highly skilled experts (including accountants, tax specialists, business experts) to assist when required.
My office meets the highest quality standards set by recognized specialization associations VFAS (Association of Family Law Attorneys and Mediators) and MfN (Mediators Federation of the Netherlands).
I take a personal approach to your divorce / mediation.
Personal and family law have always interested me, because I enjoy the people-to-people contact. Emotions play a key role and the people involved are often going through a difficult period. My support is therefore not just aimed at the legal aspects.
I am dedicated to achieving a good or desirable result with and for you, but, if necessary, I will act on your behalf in court proceedings. Mediation may be an option, especially for divorce.
I derive great satisfaction from deploying mediation to turn a seemingly insolvable conflict into a good arrangement for both. Certainly when children are involved.
Besides my work, I am active as parents’ council chair at my children’s school.
